Inside the palace of Saddam that the Americans have now taken over - hence the flag. (yeah, pretty sure that was not hanging there before....)

The troops have built this tall 12 foot wall all around to keep locals from darting out into the street and throwing bombs or whatever... It is all along the street from the airport to the base, for example.
